IT Object Leader

Job Responsibilities

As an IT Object Leader, you will lead and coordinate professional system management work within Region Västmanland. In this role, you will:

• lead and drive management and digitalization assignments and be responsible for relevant IT support
• prepare requirements and needs from the business and plan, realize, and implement solutions
• motivate and engage employees within your management object
• work towards set goals with a focus on business benefits, cost-effectiveness, and accessibility
• follow up and report status to steering groups, clients, and other stakeholders
• participate in projects and working groups, conduct feasibility studies, and prepare decision-making materials
• work with environmental monitoring and collaborate with other regions
• support the business throughout the entire development journey – from idea to implemented system

About the Workplace

The Digital Support Administration is Region Västmanland's digitalization organization with the mission to deliver digital services and manage healthcare and operational systems. We work in a complex environment with a broad technical content and a focus on continuous development, improvement, and innovation. The administration consists of seven units and approximately 150 employees, of which about ten are experienced IT object leaders. Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• has worked as an object leader/management leader
• has experience in system management in large organizations with complex IT support
• has relevant academic education, preferably in computer science or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• has experience with established management models (preferably PM3)
• has experience in project management and supplier management
• has knowledge of ITIL and experience in benefit and risk analysis and basic budgeting
• is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and has good English skills

Employment Conditions

Permanent employment, start date by agreement. Possibility of remote work about 1-2 days a week when the business allows.
